Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cambridge, MA
Embark on an engaging, skill-building opportunity as a contract-based school Occupational Therapist at a vibrant K-12 setting serving students onsite near Cambridge, MA. This full-time role runs from October 26, 2026 through March 30, 2027 and allows you to apply your expertise over 32 hours per week, typically structured as four days weekly with some schedule flexibility. You’ll collaborate with educators, support staff, and families while providing a valuable continuum of OT services.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license (licensure request must be submitted with initial application)
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based OT setting
- Proficiency working with a diverse K-12 caseload
- Up-to-date CORI background check and fingerprint clearance, or willingness to obtain.
- Comfortable working onsite (remote opportunities are not available for this role)
- Ready for a virtual interview process
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized OT interventions and therapy plans
- Provide direct services as specified in IEPs and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare timely and accurate progress reports
- Maintain compliant documentation and effective communication with families and school staff
