Your role will involve working face-to-face on campus, providing individualized and group services, and collaborating with teachers and family members to tailor interventions for a diverse student caseload.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of a Master's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license for Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to a variety of developmental levels (K-12)
- Team-oriented with a commitment to student empowerment
Responsibilities:
- Assess sensory, motor, and functional needs of students across grade levels
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans and interventions
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to support IEP/504 Plan goals
- Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance student participation and engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages growth and self-confidence
