Occupational Therapist School Setting - Canton, MI

This opportunity offers exposure to a dynamic caseload, with full-time hours in an itinerant role. Your week will bring variety as you support multiple sites (assignments to be determined), nurture student success, and collaborate with educational teams.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Background in school-based, healthcare, or home health OT preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation
- Adaptable communication and collaboration skills
- Motivation to work across multiple school environments
Key responsibilities:
- Implement individualized and group therapy sessions for students
- Participate in and document IEP meetings, assessments, and progress
- Travel between assigned schools as needed, providing consistent care
- Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and administration
- Uphold compliance with all district and state regulations
What to expect: You’ll receive robust onboarding, including training on the IEP system used in the district and any platform-specific requirements. The schedule is full-time for the 2026–2027 school year, with dedicated opportunities for indirect hours, including administrative time and paid team meetings.
