Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Michigan OT license and certification
- Experience in a school-based setting, working with children ages 3-18
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse student needs and goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for support
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in coordination with the educational team
- Deliver services both individually and in groups, focusing on practical skills for classroom participation
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to recommend classroom strategies and modifications
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and school requirements
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, goal setting, and progress reviews
