Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Prior experience in a school-based OT role is required
- Familiarity with therapy planning, assessment, and documentation in an educational setting
- Comfortable working with elementary-aged students across varied needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support students’ functional participation in school activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
- Offer consultative support and resources to educational staff as needed
