In this full-time, on-site role (37.5–40 hours/week, year-round), you’ll work across the western side of Wake County in elementary, middle, and high school settings, servicing a dynamic and evolving student caseload. Immediate interviews are available, and positions begin 30 days from offer.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Current OT license by North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT)
- Post-graduate OT degree; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year school-based OT experience (NC school experience preferred)
- Proficiency in ECATS & IEPs (mandatory)
- Familiarity with Sensory Processing Measure–2 (SPM-2), Sensory Profile 2, and standardized OT assessments for schools
- Experience conducting motor screenings and OT evaluations in educational settings
- Must pass DCDEE fingerprinting and Wake CPS background check
- Ability to obtain NPI number and register with NC Tracks before start
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, OT evaluations, and interpret results within an educational framework
- Provide and document therapy per IEP guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student goals
- Adapt to a workload model with monthly caseload reassessment
