What you bring to the role:
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in North Carolina
- Experience working with school-aged children across diverse needs and environments
- Background in school-based or healthcare/clinic OT preferred; home health experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions for students K-12
- Flexibility and adaptability to address the needs of various age groups
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Administer assessments to determine students’ needs and document progress toward goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create and adapt individualized plans
- Offer expertise during IEP meetings and contribute to the development of functional goals
- Maintain accurate therapy records and comply with school and district documentation requirements
- Embrace a multidisciplinary environment, supporting inclusion and student success in the classroom
