In this onsite position, you'll work alongside dedicated educators and staff across Kershaw Elementary, North Elementary, and Andrew Jackson Middle and High School. The assignment spans the 2026-2027 academic year, with a consistent weekly schedule of 35 to 37.5 hours, ensuring stability as you make a direct impact on student growth and success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license for South Carolina (required)
- Previous experience providing OT services within school settings is desired
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and student progress tracking
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt to a multi-site schedule and manage caseload effectively
- Passion for supporting students’ academic participation and independence
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite occupational therapy services to students from elementary through high school levels
- Evaluate students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive skills; develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with district and state requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely paperwork, including assessments, progress notes, and reports
- Assist in ongoing improvement of therapy programs across multiple school locations
