Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the applicable state
- Previous experience in at least one of the following: school-based OT, home health OT, healthcare/clinical OT, or teletherapy OT services
- Strong understanding of pediatric OT interventions, IEP process, and documentation requirements
- Comfort with digital platforms and teletherapy technology
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for partnering with students, families, and educators
- Demonstrated adaptability working across in-person, home, and virtual environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ functional abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
- Deliver OT services directly to students in school, home, healthcare, and teletherapy settings, following best practices and IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student achievement and independence
- Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and ongoing evaluations in compliance with professional and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences as a valued clinical partner
- Provide guidance, resources, and training to school staff and families regarding OT strategies and accommodations
