Grades K - 5 Grades 9 - 12 Occupational Therapist School Setting - Turlock, CA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in grades K-12 as a skilled Occupational Therapist. This role centers on providing exceptional OT services within an educational environment from January 2026 through June 2026. You'll collaborate closely with students and staff to improve functional skills, empower independence, and positively impact young lives. This position covers a 30–37.5 hour work week, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- Current, active state Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Experience working across multiple grade levels (K-12 preferred)
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to create individualized plans and adapt intervention methods
- Collaborative spirit with school personnel, families, and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students ages K-12
- Develop and implement daily intervention plans designed for each student's unique needs
- Assess, document, and communicate progress
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and required trainings
- Consult with teachers and staff to ensure OT strategies are integrated into the classroom
- Maintain consistent communication with families and school personnel
