School Occupational Therapist - Cheney, Washington

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid OT license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable working across diverse caseloads and adapting interventions to meet individual needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine their occupational therapy needs within the educational setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals based on student assessment
- Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to support students’ academic and functional goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Educate and consult with families and school staff regarding strategies to facilitate student independence
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to all compliance standards
