School sites may include multiple attendance areas such as Pageland, Chesterfield, Cheraw, Jefferson, and McBee.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent experience providing OT services within a K-12 educational environment
- Strong assessment, screening, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and student goal-tracking
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
- Flexibility to travel between school locations as needed
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student's strengths and challenges
- Provide regular consultation to staff and families regarding classroom accommodations and therapy strategies
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt interventions to suit a diverse student population, supporting functional independence in academic and daily life activities
