Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active OT license, or eligibility to obtain one in Virginia
- Prior experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills to support students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing motor skills, sensory needs, and adaptive behaviors
- Evaluate, create, and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
- Document progress and maintain accurate records per school and regulatory guidelines
