Step into an enriching contract opportunity delivering Occupational Therapy services to students across a range of ages and abilities. Beginning July 22, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027, you'll work full-time—five days a week, 37-40 hours—supporting learners from early childhood through high school. This role covers multiple attendance areas, offering the chance to engage with diverse student populations and collaborate with dedicated educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensure or eligibility for Occupational Therapy practice in the state
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, with skill in conducting screenings, evaluations, and delivering direct therapy
- Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Strong communication and consultation abilities, working effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Organizational skills for managing varying caseloads across multiple sites
- Adaptability to support students with different needs and abilities, PreK (3K) through 12th grade
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide Occupational Therapy interventions tailored to students’ unique learning and developmental goals
- Conduct screenings and assessments to determine eligibility and present levels of performance
- Develop and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), working closely with multi-disciplinary teams
- Offer consultation and strategies to educational staff and parents for student success in classroom environments
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Occasionally travel within the attendance areas to meet caseload requirements and participate in team meetings
