Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Illinois
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Solid understanding of pediatric fine motor skill development
- Ability to design and implement individualized interventions for young children
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with parents and teachers
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current fine motor abilities and develop tailored improvement strategies
- Work one-on-one with a kindergarten student on pencil grip, scissors use, and similar tasks
- Document and track progress toward established goals
- Provide practical recommendations for classroom accommodations and home practice
- Maintain regular communication with the student’s family and educational team
