Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Illinois (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborative spirit and flexibility to adapt to different school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions in group and one-on-one settings
- Provide direct OT services as outlined in students' IEPs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for student progress and planning
- Maintain timely and accurate records, reports, and documentation
- Work closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support student learning and development
