Key Qualifications:
- Current California Occupational Therapy licensure
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, especially when traveling between school sites
- Effective communication skills for interacting with students, educators, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in person
- Document interventions, monitor progress, and prepare necessary reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student learning
- Travel between assigned school locations, with mileage reimbursed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
