Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist Licensure for Illinois
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide high-quality evaluations and student-centered interventions
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in grades K-8
- Participate as a valued member of building-level teams for initial and re-evaluations for special education eligibility
- Support and implement MTSS and IEP processes
- Work collaboratively with educators and staff to ensure students are successful in multiple environments and skills generalize across settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state standards
- Communicate progress and recommendations to families, teachers, and related professionals
