Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state OT license and Department of Education credentials (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and related documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students’ functional and sensory-motor skills
- Develop and deliver individualized intervention plans in coordination with teaching staff and families
- Support the integration of therapy goals within classroom routines
- Monitor progress, adjust plans, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences, delivering professional insights to guide student success
- Provide recommendations and adaptive strategies to support classroom participation
