Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois OT license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to IEP/504 plans
- Conduct evaluations and develop customized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with state and district requirements
- Support inclusive learning by providing resources and training to staff as needed
