This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to a single elementary-aged student (TK - 4th grade) near the Clearlake area. Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current license and certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Hands-on experience working in school-based and/or pediatric OT settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students and school staff.
- Understanding of IEP documentation and ability to develop customized therapy plans.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to helping each student reach their potential.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct OT services to one student in grades TK - 4th, as outlined in their service plan.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to monitor and report on student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance standards for school-based therapy.
- Offer recommendations and activities to help generalize skills in classroom and home settings.
