Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students based on IEPs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention programs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
- Adapt and modify materials and strategies to promote student independence
