Make a direct impact supporting students across K-12 with your expertise as an Occupational Therapist. This full-time, school-based opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year. Engage with diverse learners and collaborate closely with educators and families to help students develop essential skills in a rewarding contract role. Two positions are available.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license in Michigan (must provide screenshot verification)
- Experience working within a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and related documentation
- Ability to support students across K-12 grade levels
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students requiring OT services in line with school protocols
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals
- Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and support staff to integrate OT strategies in the classroom
- Communicate regularly with families regarding goals, progress, and at-home strategies
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt services to meet a range of student abilities and learning environments
