Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license required (please provide a current screenshot from the state verification portal)
- Experience working in school-based settings essential
- Capable of supporting K-12 students with various needs
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach with interdisciplinary school teams
Key Duties:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Evaluate and assess students’ abilities, draft intervention plans, and monitor progress
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Support teachers and staff with classroom strategies and modifications
- Maintain thorough records and prepare required reports
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement
This is a full-time (35 hours/week), contract-based position for the 2026-2027 academic year. You’ll be working with a dedicated team while making a meaningful difference for students and school communities.
