Key Requirements:
- Active Colorado SLP license and current ASHA certification required
- Experience supporting students in school, home health, and teletherapy settings
- Solid background in fine and gross motor skills development
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, other therapists, and families
- Previous work with COTA in school settings is a plus
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide both on-site and remote therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to individual needs
- Document progress and maintain detailed, compliant records
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support consistent student growth
- Develop adaptive strategies and interventions that promote students’ independence and participation
- Train and supervise COTAs as part of the collaborative therapy team
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insightful recommendations
