Key Qualifications:
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of South Carolina
- Proven experience in school-based settings, including teletherapy services
- Strong understanding of therapeutic interventions appropriate for K-8th grade
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Adept at managing diverse caseloads and empowering student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in kindergarten through 8th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support educational goals
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress
- Work in partnership with teachers, staff, and families to create positive outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations for accommodations and modifications
- Remain current on best practices and compliance requirements in school OT
Position Details and Perks:
- Contract role for the full academic year, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 21, 2027
- Full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week), with standard school hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Choice of onsite or virtual/teletherapy service delivery
- Single-site caseload at one public charter school, supporting a manageable and focused assignment
