Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist License for California
- Experience or interest in working with K-12 students
- Ability to support students with diverse needs in academic settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Energy and creativity in implementing occupational therapy strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments and develop individualized interventions tailored to students’ needs
- Work closely with the Special Education team to implement therapy plans
- Support students in developing skills necessary for daily classroom participation
- Attend meetings and communicate progress with staff and families
- Maintain documentation in adherence with school and state guidelines
- Act as a resource for staff, sharing strategies and tools for student success
