Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license valid in California
- Prior experience working with K-12 students is strongly preferred
- Ability to conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Genuine passion for helping students achieve greater independence and participation in the classroom
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students based on IEP goals
- Assess student needs, develop intervention strategies, and integrate best practices
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt strategies and materials to maximize student access and participation
