Middle School Fine Motor Skills School Occupational Therapist | Concord, California

Key qualifications and experience:
• Valid license or eligibility for Occupational Therapy practice.
• Expertise in pediatric therapy and school-based settings.
• Strong knowledge of assessments and interventions for children ages 3–14.
• Experience supporting fine and gross motor skill development, sensory integration, and adaptive strategies.
• Confidence working with a diverse student population, including Pre-K, elementary, and middle school.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to create effective intervention plans.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
Areas of responsibility:
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, supporting IEP goals and educational development.
• Perform screenings and evaluations to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide interventions for fine and gross motor skill acquisition, sensory processing, and classroom participation.
• Work closely with classroom staff, administrators, and families to promote student success.
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school and state regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the educational team with professional input.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
