Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license (OT)
- Recent, hands-on experience in a school-based setting
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Strong skills in assessment and intervention for K-12 students with diverse needs
- Effective communicator—able to work well with teachers, families, and administrators
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and guidance for student programming
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of student progress and services delivered
- Consult with families and staff to maximize student participation and success
