School Occupational Therapist | Corona, California
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational setting. We're currently seeking a skilled professional with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents. This position offers 40 hours per week across two school sites, starting as soon as possible and running through December 1, 2026, with the possibility of an extension. Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Demonstrated school-based OT experience is essential
- Proficiency in delivering individualized and group interventions within a school environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Flexibility in adapting approaches to diverse learning needs
- Ability to travel between two school sites as part of your caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive OT assessments and therapeutic services tailored to students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve academic and functional goals
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create inclusive learning environments
- Document intervention progress, complete required reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate teachers and families on strategies that support students’ skills at school and home
- Maintain compliance with all related policies and procedures
