Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Proven experience in school settings is required
- Skillful in fine motor skills development, sensory integration, and adaptive strategies
- Experience in home health, healthcare, and teletherapy modalities beneficial
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations across multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
- Monitor progress, maintain comprehensive documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide recommendations and training to teachers and families to promote student participation
- Travel between sites as part of a dedicated educational therapy team
