Step into an exciting opportunity as an Onsite Occupational Therapist supporting students in a school setting. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact during a maternity leave assignment from October 16, 2026, through December 18, 2026. Work closely with students, educators, and families, offering your expertise for three days per week in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Ideal candidates will bring a background in a variety of OT settings—school-based, home health, and teletherapy experience all valued. Your knowledge and flexible approach will be instrumental in helping students achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions
- Experience with IEP development and participation
- Competence in documentation and progress reporting
- Adaptability to diverse learning needs and settings
- Able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services on-site to students as part of their educational plan
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy programs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and document therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEPs
- Engage families and caregivers in supporting student growth
- Communicate effectively with all members of the school community
