Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in California (OTR/L)
- Prior experience providing OT services in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation
- Skilled in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering both direct and consultative services
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to travel independently between designated school sites as an itinerant therapist
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ abilities and needs, utilizing standardized and informal tools
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans as part of IEP teams
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student progress
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation to students and teachers on assigned campuses
- Maintain timely, thorough, and compliant documentation and reporting
- Travel to multiple sites throughout the week to serve a diverse caseload
