This position, located near Dayton, OH, offers 28 hours per week with the flexibility to combine with two additional local roles—one at 24 hours and another at 16—for those seeking expanded hours or a more robust schedule. COTAs are welcome to apply with supervision provided.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong understanding of IEP implementation and goal setting
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse student needs and classroom environments
- Commitment to supporting students’ functional skills and educational success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ therapy needs
- Develop and execute individualized therapy programs supporting academic participation
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
- Communicate regularly with families and school staff
