Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio
- Previous experience working with children in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of OT best practices in educational environments
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff
- Comfortable managing caseloads and required documentation efficiently
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ motor skills and sensory processing needs
- Design and deliver therapy sessions tailored to individual education plans
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ participation in classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and compliance documentation
- Share strategies and resources with educators and families to reinforce treatment objectives
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings as needed
This contract role runs from October 22nd through December 21st, offering a consistent schedule of four days per week, totaling 32 hours each week. Your dedication will make a lasting difference as students reach their fullest potential during the school year.
