You’ll work within the school’s elementary schedule, from 8:35 AM to 3:38 PM, providing services that help students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT licensure in Michigan
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy in school settings is highly valued
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and family members
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with varying needs, primarily at the elementary level
- Conduct assessments using appropriate tools to determine student strengths and areas of need
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
