Gross Motor Skills 1:1 Pediatric Occupational Therapist School Setting in Denton, TX

This contract opportunity covers a leave of absence from September 2026 through December 2026, offering the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time hours to accommodate your availability. Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Texas (or eligibility)
- Demonstrated experience with pediatric populations, preferably within an educational setting
- Strong proficiency in assessing and addressing fine and gross motor skills
- Skilled in 1:1 direct interventions tailored to diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and related documentation
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Adaptable to in-person school environments and comfortable managing varying caseloads
Primary responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine OT needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based OT interventions for fine and gross motor skills, sensory needs, and daily living skills
- Document progress and collaborate with educators and families to support IEP goals
- Provide consultative support to classroom staff for integrating strategies into daily routines
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
