Assignments follow an innovative allocation model designed to provide balanced, equitable workloads—especially benefiting those working with preschools and specialized programs. This thoughtful approach ensures your efforts are focused where they matter most, maintaining a sustainable caseload of approximately 40-60 students.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license
- Colorado Department of Education (DOE) license
- DORA certification
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Flexibility to support students directly and in a consultative capacity
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students ages preschool through high school
- Perform thorough assessments and develop tailored IEP goals based on individual student needs
- Work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation, including progress notes and outcome communications
- Attend a required Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation from July 27-31st, then transition to campus sites for the academic year beginning August 3rd
