Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring OT services
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence and academic success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate in student support meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate progress and strategies with teachers and caregivers
