Key Skills & Experience We’d Love to See:
- Valid OT license to practice in Michigan
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong background in fine and gross motor interventions
- Proficiency in teletherapy delivery and related technology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
- Commitment to building positive relationships with staff and families
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver occupational therapy services for students, both in person and remotely
- Implement evidence-based interventions to develop motor functions, self-care, and classroom participation
- Assess students’ motor skills and collaborate to create individualized therapy plans
- Consult with teachers and staff on accommodations and strategies
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
- Contribute to IEP meetings and student planning as needed
