You’ll be working with students from two elementary campuses, one middle school, and one high school, managing a thoughtfully planned caseload of about 25-30 students.
Enjoy the flexibility to design your own workdays, as the school start and end times vary: elementary schools operate from 8:45 am to 3:37 pm, the middle school from 7:55 am to 2:48 pm, and the high school from 7:10 am to 2:04 pm. This structure offers unique opportunities for creative scheduling and impactful collaboration with school staff.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure and credentials as a School Occupational Therapist or School Social Worker
- Proven experience supporting students within school settings
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Comfort traveling between sites as needed
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and administrators
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative services to students on your caseload
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to support student goals
- Maintain timely, accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver support and advocacy that encourage student engagement and success
