Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for Michigan
- Previous experience in school-based OT settings preferred
- Experience serving K-12 populations, including IEP documentation and goal-setting
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Comfort with travel between two nearby school districts
- Ability to manage varied caseloads and collaborate with educational teams
- Readiness to begin as soon as possible and commit through June 4th
Role Overview:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students, primarily in K-5
- Serve both Bangor (K-4 & MS/HS 5-12) and Hartford (K-5 & MS/HS 6-12) campuses
- Develop and implement treatment plans, interventions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff
- Document services and maintain compliance with state and district policies
- Enjoy a weekly routine with on-site focus and a flexible day for paperwork or assessments
- Possible opportunity to supervise a COTA pending district approval
