Make a meaningful impact supporting students across K-12th grade as a contract school-based Occupational Therapist! This role offers a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with students, educators, and families—helping children enhance their independence, motor skills, and engagement in the learning environment.
Work the entire 2026/2027 school year, providing your expertise over 30-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Your knowledge and creativity will address diverse student needs and empower their success both in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania State Occupational Therapy License
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics/school settings (K-12 population)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Flexibility and enthusiasm to adapt to various needs and environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify barriers to participation in school activities
- Develop and implement individualized interventions aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers and parents
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide consultation and training to staff on strategies for classroom success
