Key Requirements:
- Hold and maintain an active Louisiana Occupational Therapy license
- Demonstrated experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Confidence in supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and school staff
- Ability to travel to multiple school sites during the week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite occupational therapy services (20-25 hours per week) at four assigned schools
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address student needs
- Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in alignment with school and state requirements
- Provide COTA supervision, ensuring high-quality services and professional guidance
- Engage with educators and families to promote generalization of skills in the classroom and beyond
