School Occupational Therapist | Easley, South Carolina
Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students in a school-based occupational therapy setting near Easley, SC. This role is ideal for a dedicated occupational therapist seeking an opportunity to make an impact during a maternity leave, with assignments split between Summit Drive Elementary and Reedy Laurel Elementary. The anticipated coverage spans from approximately December 14th, 2026 through March 15th, 2027, ensuring continuity of care for a diverse student caseload.
This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week and the chance to support around 60 students as part of a collaborative school team. Your expertise will play an essential role in student development, allowing you to provide critical support in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active South Carolina Occupational Therapy License required
- Previous experience within school settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organization skills
- Adaptability and positive collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions and evaluations in alignment with IEP/504 plans
- Develop and implement individualized goals to support students’ access to learning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEPs
- Maintain up-to-date records and progress documentation
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and caregivers
