Bring your expertise as part of a team of three OTs—two dedicated to full-time roles and one providing ongoing long-term substitute support. This assignment begins September 8, 2026 and continues through June 10, 2027, offering consistent, impactful work at 37.5 hours per week. With a manageable caseload of 20-40 students, you’ll provide targeted interventions primarily for setting 4 students, all within a single building—eliminating the need for site hopping.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota (or eligibility for licensure prior to the assignment’s start)
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students in a school-based setting
- Knowledge of evidence-based OT interventions and IEP (Individualized Education Program) process
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset and adaptability within diverse educational contexts
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services based on student IEP goals and district requirements
- Complete assessments, develop and implement intervention plans, and progress-monitor outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to optimize student engagement and function
- Provide case management for students on your caseload, attending IEP meetings and contributing to student success stories
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate actively in the school community
