Occupational Therapist School Setting in Eden Prairie, MN
Make an impact this school year by supporting students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational environment near Eden Prairie, MN. This contract position offers three opportunities: two full-time roles and one long-term substitute assignment covering the first couple of months (exact dates to be determined). Your expertise will support a caseload of 20-40 students, collaborating with a caring team in a single building while providing services across multiple learning centers.
In this role, you’ll use your OT skills to help students achieve their goals and maximize their potential. The assignment begins September 8, 2026, and runs through June 10, 2027, offering consistent hours (37.5 per week) over the school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota
- Previous experience in school-based OT preferred
- Comfortable supporting diverse student needs, including settings with four students per group
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Able to thrive working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide targeted OT interventions for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and collaborate on IEP goals
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Serve students in a single building, providing expert support for various educational centers
