Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Eden Prairie, MN. This position is designed to cover a leave of absence, beginning September 21st and running through January 4th, with a possibility for extension. You’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive team, working 20 hours per week across five days, while enjoying time off during winter break.
In this role, you’ll work at a specialized center, supporting students who receive Setting IV special education services. The ideal candidate is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in school-based settings and a commitment to nurturing student growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure and experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist
- Proven ability to work within special education, supporting students with diverse needs
- Demonstrated experience with Setting IV student populations
- Reliable transportation required
- Successful completion of agency onboarding and district background check
- Previous positive performance in related placements, if already credentialed
- Flexibility to work within school hours and assignment duration

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized occupational therapy services to students in a Setting IV education environment
- Collaborate with educators, families, and fellow support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies

- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere conducive to student growth and participation
