Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active and valid license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with pediatric populations and familiarity with IEP processes
- Previous exposure to school-based and/or home health occupational therapy
- Proficiency in providing OT services via teletherapy platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to help students meet their educational and developmental goals
- Deliver occupational therapy services in various settings, including on-site, home, and virtual sessions as needed
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom and at home
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to support student progress
- Document all assessments, treatments, and communications in accordance with practice standards and school policies
