Qualifications:
- Active clinical license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings is highly preferred
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites within the district
- Ability to serve a caseload that varies by school and fluctuates across age groups
- Must complete required fingerprints and credentialing in a timely manner
- Passion for making a meaningful difference in students’ educational journeys
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across assigned schools
- Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized plans
- Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and outcomes
- Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate on progress monitoring
- Adapt services to a range of developmental stages and school environments
- Maintain professional and timely records in accordance with school and state policies
